Phone Banking Help

  • Why won’t it let me reset my PIN to 1234 or 1111?
    The new system DOES NOT allow sequential passwords, nor does it allow you to continue to use the last four of your social security number. The password has to be secure, and these numbers don’t fit our guidelines for security.

  • I forgot my PIN. How do I reset it?
    Please contact our Deposit Operations team for PIN resets. There is a limit of 3 invalid PIN attempts before a reset is required.

  • The system isn’t recognizing my account number.
    The phone banking system DOES NOT require initial zeros in front of the account number. Try again if you were using zeros.

  • What balances can I check using phone banking?

  • What accounts can I transfer to and from?

    Please note: Passbook accounts are unable to transfer funds with phone banking. Balances can be checked, however.

  • Are there any accounts that are not accessible through phone banking?
    For Commercial Loans, please speak directly with our commercial team.

  • Can I transfer to my friend’s account?
    Unfortunately that is not an option available with phone banking. All accounts must share a tax ID or social security number in order to transfer using the phone banking system. We recommend Popmoney for person to person transfers.

Checking

Account Balance and Interest Inquiry:

Grants access to the account's current and/or available balance, as well as interest paid last year and year to date. (Available balance may include overdraft protection).

Specific Check Inquiry:

Grants access to checking history where the caller may verify, via serial number search, whether or not a specific check item appears on current checking history as being paid.

Last 10 Deposits Inquiry:

Grants access to checking history where the caller may receive a comprehensive review of their last 10 deposits.

Elements voiced include item description, serial number (if applicable), date posted, and item amount. Items are presented in groups of 5 with a menu prompt to receive additional items or to return to the prior menu.

Last 10 Withdrawals Inquiry:

Grants access to checking history where the caller may receive a comprehensive review of their last 10 withdrawals.

Elements voiced include item description, serial number (if applicable), date posted and item amount. Items are presented in groups of 5 with a menu prompt to receive additional items or to return to the prior menu.

Last 10 Checks Inquiry:

Grants access to checking history where the caller may receive a comprehensive review of their last 10 checks.

Elements voiced include item description, serial number (if applicable), date posted, and item amount. Items are presented in groups of 5 with a menu prompt to receive additional items or to return to the prior menu.

Stop Payment Request:

Grants access to a series of prompts where the caller may input the criteria required in order to place a stop payment. The phone banking system will place a stop payment on the item after ensuring that the item does not appear on current checking history.

All stop payment requests are subject to a $35 fee!

Customers are also prompted with this message:

“Your stop payment request has been accepted. Please understand that we will keep your stop payment request on file for a maximum of fourteen days. Please note that you must stop in at a branch office and sign a stop payment authorization in order to keep the stop payment request in force for more than the initial fourteen-day period.”

Savings
